The new standard for cleanrooms
CLEANROOM TEXON
The Fraunhofer Institute tested the CLEANROOM TEXON for its suitability for cleanrooms and certified it with the internationally renowned "Tested Device" mark. It meets the requirements of air cleanliness class 3 according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 (equivalent to Class 1 according to US-Fed St. 209E).
The CLEANROOM TEXON provides reliable protection against electrostatic charge in accordance with DIN EN 61340-5-1.
Even the plastic parts, despite their bright colour scheme, are ESD-compliant thanks to their finely integrated steel fibres. With its polished aluminium base, ESD-compliant castors, upholstery and plastic parts, the CLEANROOM TEXON dissipates charge across all components and therefore reliable protects sensitive components.
Its hygienic design prevents dirt and dust from accumulating. Its smooth, closed surfaces mean that the chair is particularly easy to clean. A particular highlight is the clean cover that protects the mechanism and makes cleaning even easier. In addition, the removable upholstery of the CLEANROOM TEXON not only enables it to be replaced quickly, it is also perfect for all-round cleaning – even under the upholstery.
The Skintec upholstery, which was specifically developed for the TEXON, is unique on the market – it not only brings together maximum comfort with the highest hygiene stands, it is also fully ESD-compliant in its bright colour version.

ESD TEXON
ESD TEXON, specially developed for EPAs (ESD Protected Areas), offers reliable protection against electrostatic discharge. This makes it an excellent choice when working with sensitive components, e.g. in the microchip and semiconductor industries.

Ergonomics
TEXON's comprehensive ergonomic concept
With its ground-breaking automotion mechnism, TEXON is revolutionising the concept of dynamic sitting at the workplace. This enables the seat back and the backrest to be moved forwards and backwards simultaneously. As a result, the seat and backrest dynamically remain in contact with the body, creating a feeling of floating and gliding. The seat and back surface can be locked in three different positions. Moreover, the TEXON has the flex back, which increases the flexibility of the backrest and enables a slight movement in the back even when the chair is locked. This provides the TEXON with support and is easy on the user's back, while also being comfortable. The flex back can also be locked for work that requires the highest levels of concentration.
The seat height can be continuously adjusted, meaning that TEXON can be perfectly adjusted to any body size. The 4D armrests can be adjusted with respect to height, width and depth and can be swivelled.
Hygienic Design
The pure model for successful use
The TEXON's hygienic design has been specially developed for use in high-tech industries with high hygiene requirements. Its joint-free structure means that there is no chance for dust and dirt to build up. All you need to do to clean the chair is to simply wipe it. What makes this chair special is that all of the component transitions are closed. This prevents dust deposits from building up in gaps or crevices and particles being released by small parts; the chair is quick and easy to completely wash. Another highlight is the clean cover that protects the mechanism and makes cleaning even easier.
